Food Process Technology Event: data driven mixing & the protein trend

On 22 January 2026 the ANRO team visited Jongia Mixing Technology in Leeuwarden for the Food Process Technology event, organised together with Machevo & Bulk and Tetra Pak Cheese & Powder. Two topics were front and centre: LiquidZ – the DNA of Mixing and the rising protein trend. Below we summarise what this means for CIP and tank cleaning: from data guided optimisation to the right spray patterns for protein rich products.

The protein trend raises the bar for cleaning

The growth of high‑protein drinks and other protein‑rich formulations leads to more tenacious residues and stricter hygiene demands. This requires precision in spray pattern, impact and coverage, plus the right balance between pressure and flow. In our projects we see that focusing on these factors shortens cycles and increases predictability.
