Gyraflex in Action: Full Ceiling Coverage with a Simple Nozzle Adjustment

At Anro Spray Solutions, we focus on smart and effective cleaning technology. During a recent visit to a customer in the food processing industry, we found that even a well-designed CIP system with rotating spray heads doesn't always deliver the expected results; unless everything is properly configured.

The Problem: A Dirty Ceiling Strip

The production room was equipped with Gyraflex rotating nozzles, mounted close to the ceiling in two rows along the sides of a rectangular space. Each nozzle had three spray directions: downward, sideways, and straight up.

Yet the center of the ceiling remained dirty. Our analysis revealed several causes:

• The upward spray just missed the center zone.

• Spray patterns lacked proper overlap.

• The nozzles rotated too fast, producing mist instead of impact-driven droplets..

For professionals in industrial cleaning, this is a common issue: effective coverage relies not only on nozzle type, but also on precise placement and settings.
In this video, you can clearly see the effect of a few adjustments to the nozzle configuration. At the back, you'll see the original setup; at the front, a modified setup with an extension and a nozzle aimed directly at the ceiling. Pay close attention to the center of the ceiling – the coverage is now even and completely clean.

The Solution: Three Small Tweaks, Maximum Result

The fix was simple and cost-efficient. By adjusting just three variables:

1. Spray angle and direction (via an extension piece),

2. Nozzle flow rate (larger orifice),

3. Rotation speed (slower, for better droplet formation),

…the system suddenly reached the entire ceiling, including the previously untouched center. No extra nozzles were needed, and full coverage was achieved.

Why Gyraflex Makes the Difference

The Gyraflex system is built for high-efficiency cleaning in demanding environments. Its flexibility is the key:

• Three individually adjustable spray outlets

• Variable rotation speed

• Compatible with both water and foam

• Perfect for CIP (Clean-in-Place) applications

In any setting and with any level of contamination, Gyraflex delivers. As shown here, a small adjustment can make a huge difference in ceiling cleaning in food production facilities.
